No stranger to the mortgage and insurance industry, Stuart Dowie’s background includes 15 years managing his own mortgage broker business and a further 15 years in the IT Industry, with a focus on Dealer Account Management roles.
A key component to being an effective Mortgage Adviser, and something that Stuart places considerable emphasis on, is ongoing and straightforward communication. “It starts and finishes with listening to the client. In order to achieve anything of value to them you must first be in tune with their situation, their goals and their challenges,” says Stuart.
Stuart’s determination to leave each client with a positive outcome is what drives him, and his optimistic approach and fresh viewpoint to every situation helps set his clients’ concerns at ease.
“Even if the news is not what they want to hear, I’ll help them gain a clearer understanding of their position and point out the steps required to get where they want to be. Sometimes all that is required is a little creative thinking outside the square and a refusal to accept just a simple “No” as an answer.”
Stuart believes he offers his clients their best opportunity to achieve an approval in line with their requirements, along with the most favourable loan package to fit their particular needs. Stuart’s commitment and determination has led to him establishing a number of long term client-relationships, and he prides himself on making each client feel they are his number one priority.
